Northcote Central is a suburb of North Shore, one of several cities in the Auckland metropolitan area in northern New Zealand. It is located on the north shore of the Waitemata Harbour. The population was 8,757 in the 2006 Census, an increase of 618 from 2001.〔The figures provided are the sum of the statistical areas of "Ocean View" () and "Tuff Crater" ().
